Death is not an ending, but a transition of the soul. Here are true-life stories of ordinary men, women, and children who no longer fear death or grieve for deceased loved ones. Why? Because they know the human spirit survives death--and lives on. But how do they know this with such certainty? The proof lies in what they have seen with their own eyes and felt with their own hearts. Each was present when a grandmother, best friend, spouse, or child appeared to them in a luminous visitation to ease their grief and to show them that no one had really died. They were graced to witness angels, or Jesus, or other spiritual beings who came to announce the well-being of their recently passed dear ones. Here, told in simple but emotionally rich words, are seventy-eight unforgettable tales of grief allayed and solace attained. Housewives, mechanics and mothers, sons and daughters, truck drivers and nurses, young and old--all attest to the survival of the spirit after death. What is remarkable is that many of them had no previous mystical experiences or even beliefs that such occurrences were possible. Read their miraculous stories and you'll begin to understand why Nick Bunick, subject of The Messengers, assures us that with every transition of the soul, grief dissolves and it is only death that dies.

LIFE BELONGS TO us. It belongs to us when we hear the birds singing in the morning on a beautiful spring day. It belongs to us when we cry behind closed doors, with an ache in our soul, for whatever obstacle or pain we encounter. It belongs to us as it bends and breaks, when it moves us to our passion and we are driven to hold it all in our hearts. I hold mine in my poetry.

"Mind, Soul & Ghost" is a non-fiction reflection based upon a personal "Near Death Experience" the author experienced on the U.S. Continental Divide in December of 1971 - When his snow shoes broke atop ridge at 20 below zero. He can't explain the human transitions; but we can explore them. We need more research in this area and this book is a good start. The Bible and Church do not delve into this mystical area. However modern science can and this book does. No one is getting out of life alive. Death is something we all will face in our lives. This book opens the discussion on the subject.

Transitions is a primer to spiritual and universal understanding. It brings the reader closer to understanding of why we are here along with the roles of God, Angels, and negative forces. Transitions is unique in its presentation as its focus is on self improvement. To understand and love self opens the doors to love without condition. From the moment God creates a person, the energy of life begins. Each energy follows a path of transitions, from spirit to flesh and flesh to spirit. In our human existence the memories of our beginning are blocked in order that we can follow our human journey. To understand our purpose in life is difficult, yet that understanding lies deep within us and if we seek it with a clear heart and mind it can be revealed. Longmont, Colorado – There is no way that others could tell how to live one’s life or suggest that he or she should do what they have done. That’s why author Nathaniel writes about his own life and experiences, hoping that this will inspire readers to want to further investigate their own life and destiny. God will never forsake you because He loves you. God doesn’t change. God is forever. That’s what Transitions: A Spiritual Evolution is about. The author presents the experiences of his life as a backdrop to see how God always helps and supports us in our earthly journey. He addresses the meaning of spirituality, angelic messages, positive and negative influences and God’s unconditional love. Discussed are the angelic sequence 8-2-8, transitions, and how the receipt of this powerful message has inspired him to take a new look at his spiritual journey. He discovers that truth exists as a function of truth, not common belief, and that we do not need to look into the ancient past to hear God’s voice or see or hear his angels in our presence. The author addresses these complex topics in order to gain a better understanding of who we are, why we exist, why there is pain and suffering in the world, and how to achieve ultimate happiness. Today, he looks back and reflects on all that has happened in his life and, with a critical eye and heart, digs deep within to see that God has always been by his side, responding to his needs as only God can. He invites everyone to reflect on the miracles of their own lives.

This work gave consideration to how spirit injury affects dominant and minority students' outlooks of the education to work transition and to further an understanding of the role of spirituality in this life stage. Maintaining that spirituality is fundamental for individuals' development, the project revealed how valued spiritual development and a sense of interconnectedness enables young adults to relocate from education into the world of employment while making informed life choices. The interrelations of spiritual and emotional development gave breadth and importance to outlooks as both spirituality and spirit injury are closely tied to the manifest perceptions held by students. Utilizing a sample of various Canadian cultural groups aided an exploration of the pivotal function played by different forms of spiritual expression and how spirit injury leads to a sense of disconnection. The work incorporated spirituality as a pervasive, meaningful and universal energy defined religiously and non-religiously. The interview process revealed the role of spiritual development in confidence building and consideration was given to the relationships shared between minority and dominant students' perspectives with respect to spirit injury, education and work. The nuances that exist across cultures produced clarity toward appreciating how spirituality informs the critical intermediary stage and further, what happens when spiritual development is not fostered at the educational level and how spirit injury may ultimately affect work paths and lifelong goals.

From his geometrical method to his geometrical examples; from his doctrine of reason to his explanation of bodies in motion; and from his account of the affects to his understanding of social relations, ratio is of prime importance in Spinoza's philosophy. These 11 essays explore the surprisingly varied dimensions of this unacknowledged keystone of Spinoza's thought. They take you from Spinoza's geometrical diagrams to his concepts of mind, body, the emotions, and the cosmos. It shows how Spinoza's thinking about ratio influences the concept of proportion in Gulliver's Travels, the differential ontology of Deleuze, egalitarian design for wellbeing, and the notion of an affective architecture.

In this book, Carroy Ferguson presents a unique glimpse into the transitional stages in consciousness that many African Americans experience as they explore the essence of being a Black person in U.S. society and the world. Using a model of six transitional stages in consciousness, original essays, and discourses on the symbolism of various historical events, Ferguson engages readers in an intriguing reflective process to give them a better understanding of how transitions in consciousness_from an African American perspective_are largely shaped and greatly influenced by the 'psychology of the times.' The essays, therefore, represent the various dynamics at play as many African Americans engage the contents of their consciousness and learn to explore and transcend various societal challenges. To assist readers in engaging their personal self-reflective processes, Ferguson provides creative exercises and a comprehensive timeline of African American life.
