Illuminating The Narrow Gate

Format: PDF, Kindle

The apocalyptic end times have finally arrived. What is coming to an end, though, is not what you have been led to believe. Do you desire the truth about God, our foremost religions, the purpose of life and the future of our planet? Are you ready to challenge the religious powers that be to learn what most would rather not know? If so, this revolutionary book will help you transcend the darkness on your eternal journey home to a God of pure, unconditional love (a God who has no cause or need to ever judge or condemn anybody). Illuminating the Narrow Gate reveals the flaws of the mainstream Western religions as it guides and empowers its readers to embrace an enlightened spirituality. Brimming with astonishing insights and revelations, it will shock the world by debunking the “fire and brimstone” theology of mainstream Christianity. It primarily accomplishes this by unraveling the apocalyptic prophecies of Daniel, the gospels and Revelation in their entirety. In fact, they contain hidden spiritual messages that contradict what has been confidently preached for all these centuries. Like a challenging riddle that cannot be solved, the answer is obvious in hindsight. Only the blinding power of a paradigm can explain how we missed it for so long. The revelations will strike with devastating force because the book first arrives at the same conclusion through more traditional means. It convincingly describes how Jesus had come to uproot Judaism, but the version of Christianity that developed in his wake failed to make the paradigm shift. Erroneous tenets that should have been discarded were instead institutionalized in both theology and authority. The book also blazes a third independent trail to the same destination by showing how this ancient religious tree bore its poisonous fruit in both the Holocaust and the abomination of slavery that fathered the Civil War. Furthermore, the book illuminates the nature of evil and its well-cloaked ways, which is essential for unraveling the prophecies. This wisdom yields a new and astonishing interpretation of the Book of Job that delivers a quantum leap in insight over the prevailing understanding. As the first devout Christian to read this interpretation commented, “It rocked my apple cart to the core.” In addition, it presents an array of scientific evidence for the spiritual realm’s existence that complements its amazing demonstration that long-range prophecy is truly possible. It thus shows the atheistic religion of scientism is also doomed. Meanwhile, the book proves Jesus was the “Anointed One” (Messiah) with a telescoping trio of prophecies (from Daniel) that foretold the onset of his ministry to the reign of the Roman Empire, to its first ten emperors in the 1st century CE and to 27–34 CE. Most Christians will thus either fearfully denounce the book as a satanic assault upon their religion or courageously embrace it as the inevitable completion of the Reformation. The great spiritual awakening will soon be kicking into high gear, which is exactly what the apocalyptic prophecies long ago foretold and the spiritual realm has long been awaiting. As Jesus and a group of angels informed an atheist during his near-death experience in 1985, “The world is at the beginning of a major transformation. It will be a spiritual revolution that will affect every person in the world.” Can you handle the truth? Are you ready to awaken? If so, this world-changing book is at your service. * You only have to purchase Vol. I to get the book’s core insights and revelations. A PDF document of the Endnotes, Bibliography, Index, et al. The Narrow Door

In The Narrow Door, Paul Lisicky creates a compelling collage of scenes and images drawn from two long-term relationships, one with a woman novelist and the other with his ex-husband, a poet. The contours of these relationships shift constantly. Denise and Paul, stretched by the demands of their writing lives, drift apart, and Paul's romance begins to falter. And the world around them is frail: environmental catastrophes like the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, natural disasters like the earthquake in Haiti, and local disturbances make an unsettling backdrop to the pressing concerns of Denise's cancer diagnosis and Paul's impending breakup. Lisicky's compassionate heart and resilience seem all the stronger in the face of such searing losses. His survival--hard-won, unsentimental, authentic--proves that in turning toward loss, we embrace life.

Sounding the trumpet of God as a prophetic warning! The Christian church has become lukewarm. God is calling his people to repent and turn from their wicked ways, then Jesus will hear from heaven and heal their land. Jesus will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and turn the hearts of the children to the fathers. The time is now to have a spiritual awakening. It's time to examine ourselves and ask Jesus to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Not to just forgive our sins, but to deliver us from our sins. There are many Christians that are in bondage to many temptations from the devil. The good news is that there is power available to every child of God to break those chains that hold them captive to Satan. The power of God is in his word. My book will lead the reader to experience a new freedom in Christ and to stay on the narrow path that Jesus said few will find.

Evelyn Scott’s first novel, The Narrow House, depicts a family stricken by dysfunctional domesticity. Revolving around troubled members of the Farley family, Scott exposes notions of romantic love, longing, and the image of the Southern belle as damaging, unrealistic constructs, all against the backdrop of a seemingly normal middle-class existence that in previous decades had been idealized in Southern writing. Published to high praise when it appeared in 1921, The Narrow House vaulted Scott to literary celebrity in her day. In this new critical edition, Mary E. Papke contextualizes Scott’s first and possibly best writing effort with an astute introduction that discusses Scott and her contemporaries, the work’s importance to the genre of the novel, and the small but ongoing reclamation of Scott’s place in literary history. Completely updated and formatted for a modern readership, this critical edition of The Narrow House is sure to find its way into classrooms and onto bookshelves.

The Messiah came 2000 years ago to show us The Way by example through The Narrow Gate into The Kingdom of Yahuah. That "way" is through Mikveh, Circumcision, and bringing an Offering to the Altar of Yahuah. After showing us "The Way" on Passover, the veil was torn giving all of us access to follow in his footsteps. Unfortunately, we have been misled for 2000 years! We all have been taught to either keep Easter (which is a Babylonian ritual), or keep The Seder (which is a Roman pagan banquet). We have been taught an entirely different Gospel message that it took The Creator to come and die to save us, when salvation is through a Mediator and High Priest chosen from among men. This book overcomes those lies, and firmly established The Way and example the Messiah set, that we should follow to enter through The Narrow Gate. There are two issues facing the Nazarene followers of Yahusha today: 1. When do we celebrate these Appointed Times? 2. How do we properly fulfill our roles in these prophetic rehearsals? I wrote this book to answer those two questions clearly, so that the Nazarene Assembly of true believers will be faithful to meet Yahuah on His Appointed Feasts and in a way that brings glory to Him. So that we can properly fulfill our role as the Bride of the Messiah (not Yahuah) by preparing ourselves through Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering. For 2000 years the traditions of Hellenized Rabbinical Judaism and the pagan false religion of Christianity has dominated the hearts and minds of the people. We were all brought up committing The Abomination of Desolation by keeping Easter over Passover. We came out of Babylon, repented, and looked for answers as to “how” we keep His Appointed Times, yet we then began following the human traditions of the Pharisees, known today as Rabbinical Judaism. We literally went from one pagan ritual to another, remaining unfaithful in our attempts at obedience by not following the example set by Yahusha on Passover. This book will give us all clear instructions on how to properly enter The Narrow Gate by following the “true way that leads to eternal life” ... The Truth, the Way, and the Life example of our Messiah. The Narrow Gate is very narrow, and very few there are that find it! In this book I am going to explain that narrow gate, and why it is so very narrow.

The Narrow Path is about forgiveness. It is easy to say that you forgive someone, but since it is almost impossible to forget when you are offended, “true” forgiveness is extremely difficult to release. Scripture says you should forgive someone who wronged you seventy times seven times. Jesus is not saying to forgive 490 times; he’s talking about forgiving in the most extreme situations—for example, the 430 years of the Israelites’ captivity in Egypt. The Narrow Path explores a situation when two men meet along a path (one is a murderer, the other the victim) in a place where time has no meaning. Jesus forgave even the people who crucified him (Luke 23:34), but we sometimes cannot forgive even the slightest wrong against us. We must remember that the path to heaven is very narrow, so if you have an unforgiving and bitter heart, you cannot receive the kingdom of heaven. Can you love your enemy enough to forgive him? Overcoming an unforgiving heart cannot be done without the Holy Spirit because he provides the fruit: love, peace, joy, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, kindness, and self-control. The Narrow Path tells the story of a case of forgiving a difficult wrong and repenting and how God forgives us as well.

How to Travel Down the Narrow Road That Leads to Heaven The narrow road that leads to heaven is very difficult to travel. You must work hard to drive up this bumpy road and avoid running out of faith or making a wrong turn. The road to hell is wide and smooth and easy to travel down. It does not require faith, and although you may take a right or left turn at one of the intersections, all roads lead to the same place of unending torment. The purpose of this book is to give you clear directions and a biblical map you can follow to get to heaven. There are fourteen stops along the way, starting with turning away from sin and turning toward God and ending with obeying the traffic laws of life that Jesus taught. All the stops in between give you the encouragement and knowledge you need to stay on track for a successful journey. These include receiving the gift of salvation and eternal life, developing a relationship with the Holy Spirit, having faith to follow Jesus, serving and loving God and your neighbor, digging deep into God's Word, giving generously, praying continually, getting ready for the end times, and living like Christ. Once you arrive at your final destination, there is no turning back. So take time to look over the directions carefully, study the map, and read the Scriptures written on the road signs posted all along the way.

Finding The Narrow Path

File Size: 42,64 MB
Format: PDF, ePub, Mobi

Synopsis: Deciding to walk away from God did not come easily or quickly for Lin Wilder. Nor did the decision to return. As she explains: Exactly how much of my personal life should be included in this book has been a tough decision to make. This is, after all, the story of a conversion, not an autobiography. Many of my choices, judgments, and their consequences remain painful, even humiliating to revisit, writing them down, even more so. Initially, I questioned the relevance of describing elements of my career, education and relationships with men- in short, my pre-Catholic world in detail. Since I did not convert until midlife, there are a lot of territories to cover. But I realize that my use of the term 'lost years' makes no sense unless I place them squarely in the context of the person I was then. Without the details of my early life, unpleasant as they are to recall, much less write, this sense of drifting and of aimlessness are merely words which lack substance. They are unidimensional. In talks to church groups about life with and without my faith, I frequently used 'ground' while I stomped the floor I stood on, forcefully, as I worked to convey what is gained and lost with and without faith. Faith and all which accompanies religion like regular church attendance and a belief that there is something greater here, someone present, informs our decisions and choices, even our goals. Just so, its absence widens all boundaries. More and more is acceptable. This, at times, brutally honest story of the reasons for Wilder's walk away from God, then years later, return, cannot fail to provoke and challenge. Her decision to reveal intimate and painful details of the life lived during the years she refers to as 'lost' will cause even the most devoutly faithful reader to take a peek at the shadows of the self we hide from the world and from ourselves. Critique: An exceptionally candid account that is impressively well written, organized and presented, "Finding the Narrow Path: Patterns, Faith and Searching" is an inherently fascinating and consistently compelling account that is as informative and thoughtful as it is insightful and ultimately inspiring. While very highly recommended for Christian Studies reading lists, it should be noted that "Finding the Narrow Path" is also available in a Kindle format ($6.99).

Author: Michael J. Roberts

The Mystery of the Cross and the Narrow Gate Revealed is a search to reconcile apparent contradictions in the Bible, especially those passages pertaining to salvation. Beginning with the premise of the infallibility of the Bible, it argues that both the Reformers' understanding of the atonement and their doctrine of salvation are invalid, since they are contradicted by numerous scriptures. In the end, the result of this search is a new understanding of both the atonement and salvation and the development of doctrines on these subjects, which will enable us to read canonically without seeing contradictions. Through faith and reason, a sound hermeneutic and careful exegesis, The Mystery of the Cross and the Narrow Gate uncovers the internal coherence of scripture, with the principal objective of restoring truth and bringing reform to a church that fails to grasp that the Holy Spirit is given to humankind to enable us to become holy and be made fit for the kingdom in heaven-refer

The Narrow Path is a story about a couple who must face their differences and learn to work together as they look toward a lifetime of love. Miranda Klassen’s Mennonite church is big and modern and she loves the mixture of faith, action, and activity. But in order to follow her dream she moves across the country to a small town to organize the 75th anniversary celebration of an Old Order Mennonite church. Ted Wiebe has been assigned to assist and guide Miranda, feeling good that his church has chosen another Mennonite. But except for sharing the same basic faith and denomination, their churches have nothing else in common. His church embraces old-style roots, so Ted expects to find someone similar at the airport: a woman who never wears pants, no body piercing (including pierced ears), no makeup, and wearing a head covering as a sign of modesty, someone else who lives in accordance with old-fashioned values. But the woman who acknowledges him is wearing unreasonably high and outlandishly expensive shoes, denim jeans, and makeup, including bright red lipstick. As she gets off the plane she’s fiddling with an iPod and yapping on the cell phone. When Miranda enters Ted’s church and community she feels like she’s been transported back into Little House On The Prairie. Ted is supposed to help Miranda fit in, and Miranda is supposed to help his church reach out into the community. When it’s time to start planning and organizing for the celebration, then the fun really begins.

The Narrow Corridor

Author: Daron Acemoglu

From the authors of the international bestseller Why Nations Fail, a crucial new big-picture framework that answers the question of how liberty flourishes in some states but falls to authoritarianism or anarchy in others--and explains how it can continue to thrive despite new threats. In Why Nations Fail, Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson argued that countries rise and fall based not on culture, geography, or chance, but on the power of their institutions. In their new book, they build a new theory about liberty and how to achieve it, drawing a wealth of evidence from both current affairs and disparate threads of world history. Liberty is hardly the "natural" order of things. In most places and at most times, the strong have dominated the weak and human freedom has been quashed by force or by customs and norms. Either states have been too weak to protect individuals from these threats, or states have been too strong for people to protect themselves from despotism. Liberty emerges only when a delicate and precarious balance is struck between state and society. There is a Western myth that political liberty is a durable construct, arrived at by a process of "enlightenment." This static view is a fantasy, the authors argue. In reality, the corridor to liberty is narrow and stays open only via a fundamental and incessant struggle between state and society: The authors look to the American Civil Rights Movement, Europe’s early and recent history, the Zapotec civilization circa 500 BCE, and Lagos’s efforts to uproot corruption and institute government accountability to illustrate what it takes to get and stay in the corridor. But they also examine Chinese imperial history, colonialism in the Pacific, India’s caste system, Saudi Arabia’s suffocating cage of norms, and the “Paper Leviathan” of many Latin American and African nations to show how countries can drift away from it, and explain the feedback loops that make liberty harder to achieve. Today we are in the midst of a time of wrenching destabilization. We need liberty more than ever, and yet the corridor to liberty is becoming narrower and more treacherous. The danger on the horizon is not "just" the loss of our political freedom, however grim that is in itself; it is also the disintegration of the prosperity and safety that critically depend on liberty. The opposite of the corridor of liberty is the road to ruin.
